Studia Judaica (SJ) este revista academică a Institutului de Iudaistică și Istorie Evreiască Dr. Moshe Carmilly din Cluj-Napoca. Revista are vizibilitate și recunoaștere în mediul academic internațional și cuprinde contribuții din toate domeniile care au tangență cu Studiile Iudaice: istorie, antropologie, religie, gândire iudaică, filosofie evreiască, literatură, artă. Contribuțiile publicate în Studia Judaica sunt evaluate în sistem double-blind peer-review. Revista conține o secțiune dedicată articolelor științifice și una dedicată recenziilor de publicații din domeniul Studiilor Iudaice.

Instituțiile sau persoanele interesate de abonament sau de achiziționarea revistei se pot adresa Editurii Argonaut.

Reguli privind propunerea de contribuții

Papers should be submitted electronically to, both as DOC/DOCX and PDF documents. Papers in both formats should be submitted to the aforementioned address as e-mail attachments. E-mail submissions should include the following subject line: “Studia Judaica: Call for Papers”. Research articles must be written in English and should comprise 6000 to 7000 words. Please include at the beginning of the submitted research article an abstract of 150 words, 5-7 keywords and an author’s biography of 150 words. Book reviews should be between 2000 and 2500 words. Please include at the beginning of the submitted book review an author’s biography of 150 words. The journal ensures that all published research articles and book reviews are double-blind peer reviewed.

All submitted papers should be submitted to in due time and should follow the Author Guidelines of the journal.

Etică și malpraxis

Studia Judaica (SJ) has no tolerance for any violation of publication ethics. The prevention of publication malpractice is one of the main concerns of the editorial board. Any form of plagiarism and unethical behaviour is not acceptable. Authors submitting research articles and reviews to (SJ) are required to declare that the entire content of their submitted paper is original. Contributors must appropriately cite any material or ideas that do not belong to them and give full acknowledgement of their sources. Plagiarism attempts will lead to the rejection of the paper and permanent banning as a future possible contributor to (SJ). In addition, plagiarism attempts will lead to the official notification of the institution where the author is affiliated and to public exposure of the malpractice in the scholarly community.

Multiple, redundant, or concurrent publications are not allowed. Contributors are expected to submit original papers that have not been sent to any other journal. Moreover, the author is obliged to report to the editor at any moment any significant error or inaccuracy discovered in the submitted paper.

The authors are required to fill in, sign and submit to the Copyright Assessment Form as a PDF document. The document has legal value and includes the author’s statement about the originality of their paper. The paper cannot be published until this signed agreement has been received by the editorial board.
